We Use and Protect Nonpublic Personal Information
Because
you are a valued Inofin customer, protecting your
privacy is important to us. We value your trust
and we want you to understand what information we
collect, how we protect it, and how we use it. We
treat nonpublic personal information that
identifies you with respect and in accordance with
this Privacy Policy.
This
Privacy Policy applies to consumer automobile
retail installment sales, which are established
for personal, family or household purposes
(“Accounts”) and owned or serviced by Inofin
Incorporated (“we” or “us”).
Information
We Collect – We
collect information about you and co-applicants to
help identify you, to evaluate your application,
and to service and manage your Account. We collect
this information from a number of sources,
including the following:
- Information
provided by you (such as applications),
including identifying information such as
address, telephone numbers, e-mail address,
social security number, date of birth,
personal bank account information and credit
information such as income and employment.
- Information
obtained through your transactions and
relationships with us and others, such as
balances, payments, payment method, and
information provided on customer service and
collection calls.
- Information
provided by credit bureaus and similar
companies, including your account and payment
history with other creditors.
- Information
obtained online, including from “cookies”
(small pieces of data stored by your internet
browser on your computer (or other technology
that may be used to remember passwords for
you, to help us track your web site usage, and
to provide you with customized content, among
other things).
Information
We Share with Others
- We
may provide information to other companies in
the Inofin Dealer Member family that relates
to our experiences or transactions with you or
your Account; for example, Account balances,
payment history and some identifying
information such as name and address.
- We
do not disclose nonpublic personal information
about our customers or former customers to
anyone else, except as permitted by law. For
example, we provide such information to
companies (including our affiliates) we have
hired to assist us in servicing Accounts, like
preparing billing statements and other
documents, collecting Accounts, and responding
to customer inquiries. We may report Account
information, such as balance and payment
information, to credit bureaus. We will also
provide such information to the owners of
Accounts we service. In addition, we may buy
and sell assets, lines of business and/or
Accounts; when this occurs, nonpublic personal
information generally is disclosed to bidders
and is one of the transferred business assets.
Our
Security Procedures – The security of
customer information is important to us and we
take a number of steps to safeguard it. We limit
access to personal and Account information to
those employees and agents who assist us in
providing products and services to you and
servicing your Account. We maintain physical,
electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply
with applicable federal standards to guard
nonpublic personal information about you.
Your
Access to Information – We
provide you access to information about your
Account in several ways. For example, we may send
you billing and/or Account statements that contain
Account information. You may also contact us if
you have questions about your Account, you think
your bill is incorrect or if you believe we have
reported inaccurate information about you to a

This Policy Applies to You – The
